Can I purchase KDK products from Malaysia?

Please note that KDK products purchased from Malaysia do not come with a recognized warranty against manufacturing defects. Hence, we will not be able to provide any form of support in terms of repair, servicing and sale of spare parts and accessories.

Furthermore, KDK products purchased from Malaysia are not affixed with the Safety Mark. This means that their products have not undergone the rigorous testing requirements by Enterprise Singapore.

What is covered under the KDK warranty?

Manufacturing defects: Any defects in materials or workmanship under normal use

Electrical/electronic components: Issues with internal electrical components (heating element, thermostat, controls, etc.) are covered under warranty during the specified warranty period.

Storage tank integrity (for storage heaters): For storage‑type water heaters, the stainless‑steel tank (or internal tank) is covered under a 5 years warranty than the general product warranty.

Parts and labour (through authorised service centers): Warranty covers both replacement parts and labour, provided service is done by an authorised KDK service centre.

Warranty does not cover the following; not limited to:-

1. Damages resulting from incorrect installation to wrong mains voltage;
2. Repair/services for installation of more than 3.6 metres in height from floor level;
3. Finishes, consumables such as batteries, remote control, fan blades/guards and regulators;
4. Use, other than in accordance with the instructions for operations;
5. Transport and labour charges;
6. Faulty installation or mishandling;
7. Scratches, corrosion, rust, color deterioration and stains;
8. Obstruction caused to access electrical parts/products;
9. Cleaning, reconditioning and lubrication.

How many years of warranty is given for purchases of KDK products?

KDK Products are fully warrantied against manufacturing defects for 12 months from the date of purchase, with the KDK Home Shower specifically covered by a 2-year manufacturer warranty and a 5-year storage tank warranty.
